Memories of the Little Pond delves into the pain and sorrow of those who lost loved ones and homes during the Korean War. Narrated from the viewpoint of a young girl, the film traces her journey through deep loss, as she grapples with the grief of losing her closest friend and the diminishing of her childlike imagination in the war's aftermath. The little pond serves as a metaphor, symbolizing the village, the homes, and the very essence of happiness for its inhabitants.
