A FRAGILE FLOWER (DOA HOA MONG MANH)

Maya portrays Thach Thao, who not only possesses a mesmerizing voice but also a beauty that captivates all who hear her sing. Thao's journey began with tragedy when she lost her parents at a young age. Seeking solace, she found guidance from her talented singer cousin, Ellie (Trizzie Phuong Trinh). Thao's life takes a dramatic turn when music producer Son (Quoc Cuong) is enchanted by her debut performance. This leads to an offer from Son and his partner, Yvonne (Mai Thu Huyen), to collaborate on a music video titled "A Fragile Flower." Under the mentorship of renowned singer Le Khanh (Nhat Ha), Thao refines her skills and makes a splash with the song's release.

Fame brings admirers into her life, each expressing love in different ways: Son develops feelings for Thao, causing strain in his marriage to Yvonne; Dang (Duc Tien), the video director who helped Thao rise to stardom, sees her as a muse and offers unwavering protection; Bao Hoang (Anh Dung), a billionaire, is captivated by Thao's voice and pursues her persistently; and Ngoc (Baggio Saetti), a musician, stands by Thao's side, providing unconditional love and support. "A Fragile Flower" narrates Thao's journey as she navigates love, fame, confronts a life-threatening illness, and tests her newfound resilience.

Mai Thu Huyen is a prominent figure in Vietnam, known as a director, producer, actress, and entrepreneur. She is the Founder & CEO of Tincom Media and the President of the Women Leaders Intercontinental Network, comprising hundreds of members across Asia, Europe, America, and Australia.

She graduated from The Institute of International Relations in 2001 and obtained a Master's degree in business administration (MBA) in 2022 from The University of Theater and Cinema, specializing in Directing in 2023.

An accomplished actress, Mai Thu Huyen has played leading roles in over 30 movies and TV series, produced 16 films and 7 TV shows, and hosted various TV talk shows and events in Vietnam. She has received numerous awards in the film industry for her acting and producing.

She has had 3 movies released in the US. Her directorial debut, "Kieu," has been showcased at several international film festivals in the US and India. Her latest film, "A Fragile Flower," where she directed, produced, and acted, is set to premiere in the US, India, and Vietnam in early 2024.
